Extreme Cold Weather Grounds Austin Airport Flights
Arrival and departure flights are canceled as officials urge travelers to check in directly with airlines before traveling to the airport.
AUSTIN, TX — All arrival and departure flights at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport previously scheduled for Tuesday have been canceled due to extreme winter weather, officials said.
"It is critical that passengers with scheduled flights throughout this week check in directly with their airlines before traveling to the airport," officials wrote in an advisory.
Airport personnel will remain onsite working around the clock to remove snow and ice from the airport campus, officials said. Current flight information can be seen at theAustin-Bergstrom International Airport website.
