Family Concert Series Introduces Kids To Iconic Rock Music

AUSTIN, TX —Music plays an important part of our daily lives. In children, research finds the benefits of music are significant to a child's development, and facilitates learning other subjects and enhances skills that children inevitably use in other areas. Not only does music enhance a child's ability to learn, children benefit from the fun factor when it comes to playing their favorite songs.

This holiday season, families are invited to introduce their little ones to songs by some of the most iconic musicians in music history. The Rock and Roll Playhouse hosts a family concert series that gives kids the chance to move, play and sing as they explore new genres that will lead to a lifelong appreciation for music. This season families will enjoy an indoor experience with Music of the White Stripes for Kids - A Holiday Celebration on Sunday, Dec. 15 beginning at 11 a.m. at Mohawk located at 912 Red River, Austin, TX 78701.

All ages are welcome to attend with a parent/caregiver and the Rock and Roll Playhouse offers a pleasant sensory experience for little ears with volume turned down at the show. Kids may bring hearing protection earmuffs that are also available for purchase at the venue. For more click HERE.
