Farm Aid 2020 Reimagined As Virtual At-Home Festival Experience
The 35th Anniversary music festival will be held online and feature artists performing to help raise funds for farmers.
AUSTIN, TX — The community is invited to 35th anniversary of Farm Aid and a virtual at-home festival experience and work together toward the mission to keep family farmers on the land. The online event will feature the biggest names in music and the opportunity to enjoy great music from the safety and comfort of home.
"This pandemic and so many other challenges have revealed how essential family farmers and ranchers are to the future of our planet, " said Farm Aid Founder, Willie Nelson. "2020 is going to give the whole country a chance to learn about the important work of farmers and how they’re contributing to our well-being, beyond bringing us good food.”
Farm Aid 2020 will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 beginning at 7 p.m. and will feature performances by Willie Nelson and the Boys, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Black Pumas, Bonnie Raitt and Boz Scaggs, Brandi Carlile, Christ Stapleton, Edie Brickell with Charlie Sexton, Jack Johnson, Jamey Johnson, Jon Batiste, Kelsey Waldon, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Margo Price, Nathaniel Rateliff, Norah Jones, Particle Kid, The Record Company, Valerie June, The War and Treaty, and more.
