The Austin Police Department (APD) has identified Timothy Eller as the deceased in the crash on Menchaca Rd.

On December 4, 2021, at approximately 2:17 a.m., APD responded to an auto and pedestrian crash. The initial investigation shows a Toyota Tacoma was traveling northbound in the 4500 block of Menchaca Rd when it struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway. Timothy Eller was pronounced deceased on scene at 2:35 a.m. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
