The Austin Police Department (APD) has identified John Delgado as the deceased in the November 7 crash on Nuckols Crossing.

On November 7, 2021, at approximately 7:06 a.m., APD was notified of a collision that occurred in the 5500 block of Nuckols Crossing. The preliminary investigation shows John Delgado was traveling northbound in a gray Audi in the southbound lane of traffic when he struck a green Chevrolet head-on. Mr. Delgado was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger of the gray Audi was transported with non-life threatening injuries, and the driver of the green Chevrolet was transported with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
