First Mixed-Use Community In Pflugerville Completes Phase One

AUSTIN, TX — Developer Presidium has completed the first of a multi-phase, mixed-use development called The Pecan District in Pflugerville, officials said Monday.

Officials of the diversified real estate development, investment and management firm described the development as the first of its kind in the area, envisioned as drawing in residents from surrounding areas in creating a walkable, lively atmosphere where community members will have access to many amenities, living options and work opportunities in one location. The firm has now completed the first phase of the project with the opening of a new apartment community, dubbed Presidium The Pecan District, officials revealed.

Designed by Mark Odom Studios, Presidium The Pecan District consists of a three- and four-story garden-style apartment buildings encompassing 272 rental units. Amenities include luscious green spaces, a luxurious pool, a state-of-the-art fitness studio, coworking spaces, a game lounge, tuck-under parking and an outdoor kitchen area. Spacious one- and two-bedroom apartment interiors will feature modern farmhouse shelving, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, "...beautifully wrapped together in a contemporary design by SeeSaw Creative," the developer said.

Located at the corner of Old Austin Pflugerville Road and South Heatherwilde Boulevard, Presidium The Pecan District is situated within the highly rated Pflugerville Independent School District and in proximity to local parks and recreational areas with walking paths, local grocery stores, retail, restaurants and a movie theater.

Presidium The Pecan District is now leasing and set to be fully complete in September 2020, according to the developer. The second of ten phases is in the works, officials said. The second phase of construction calls for development of additional apartment units alongside modern office space with ground level dining and retail outlets, officials said.
