So sad about Jevan Snead. Some great memories. The Swamp, Torching 11-1 TT in the old Cotton Bowl, beating State 45-0, emptying out Death Valley in 08, the Miles Clock Game, and so on. Thoughts and Prayers to the Snead family. #hottytoddy

Snead's death marks the second time the Longhorns community has had to mourn the premature death of a former member of the football team. Cedric Benson, 36, athletic standout at the University of Texas at Austin and former NFL player, was killed in a motorcycle accident in August in West Austin. His death occurred after a collision with a vehicle as he rode a motorcycle with a female passenger. Both died at the scene.
