Gender Unbound Art Fest Celebrates Trans and Intersex Creators
Blue Genie Art Bazaar to host art and performances by trans and intersex artists and celebrate the community's creativity and diversity.

AUSTIN, TX -- Blue Genie Art Bazaar will host the Gender Unbound Art Fest on Sept. 18, Sept. 21 and Sept. 22 and will feature 3 days of art and performances from trans and intersex creators. A multi-discipline art festival, Gender Unbound Art Fest was created for and by members of the trans and intersex community as a way to break stereotypes and present individual stories in their own words celebrating talent and diversity.
The Gender Unbound Art Fest begins Wednesday, Sept. 18. with a film showcase beginning at 7 pm and features a Q & A with Dezjórn Gauthier -- model, talent agent, activist, producer, and star of, “A Family Matter,” an episode from documentary series, “America in Transition.”
The Art Fest's weekend events scheduled Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22 include scheduled visual art and performances beginning at 1 PM. For a complete list of artists and performance schedules, click here.
