Grassroots Fundraiser Offers Full Weekend Of Live Music
Austin Bands for Bernie is a campaign organizing and fundraising event to promote Bernie Sanders for President featuring over 30 bands.
AUSTIN, TX —Austin Bands for Bernie, a campaign organizing and fundraising event to promote Bernie Sanders for President, is a full weekend of music with Fastball and The Bright Light Social Hour as headliners. The music festival and grassroots fundraiser will feature 30 bands playing an entire weekend and helping to get out the vote and raise money for the campaign. For full line-up, click HERE.
Austin Bands for Bernie will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23 from 4 p.m. - 1 a.m. at Empire Control Room and Garage located at 606 E. 7th St., Austin, TX 78701. Attendees can also expect to hear from guest speakers, enjoy a photo booth, try out live t-shirt screen printing, and more. All proceeds raised from the festival will go to the Bernie Sanders campaign. Please note, this event is for ages 18 and up. Tickets $15; Weekend Pass $27. To purchase tickets click HERE.
