Harmony Public Schools Announces 4% Retention Bonus for Returning Employees

Harmony Public Schools celebrates its amazing team with a one-time 4% retention bonus for all full-time returning employees. The bonus, arriving this week, is a heartfelt thank-you to the teachers, support staff, and administrators whose dedication continues to make Harmony one of Texas’s top-performing public school systems.

Throughout the 2024–25 school year, Harmony staff worked tirelessly to help students thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally—while keeping campuses strong and efficient. Thanks to their efforts, Harmony once again ended the school year as one of Texas’s top performers, both academically and in financial management.

Retention Bonus Overview

Eligible full-time employees will receive their retention bonus payments this week.

To qualify, staff members must have:

• Received a paycheck at the end of September 2025
• Been employed in an eligible position as of May 20, 2025
• Remained actively employed in an eligible position as of October 17, 2025, with no pending separation (Substitutes are not eligible.)

Bonus details:

• Full-time exempt (salaried) employees: 4% of the employee’s 2024–25 annual salary
• Full-time non-exempt (hourly) employees: $1,000 flat payment (up from $575)
• Temporary workers (interns, tutors, etc.): $300 flat payment (up from $225)
