Holiday Market Invites Community To Support Austin Creatives

Frida Friday ATX will host its Holiday Market with safety protocols in place featuring great finds for Christmas from local creatives.

AUSTIN, TX—The community will have the opportunity to support local small businesses and pick up one-of-a-kind gifts for Christmas as part of Frida Friday ATX Goodbye 2020 Holiday Market. The in-person event invites shoppers to check out and support the City's creative community, with increased safety protocols in place including masks requirement, social distancing, and hand sanitizer available throughout the site.

Frida Friday ATX is Austin's premier WoC-centered monthly marketplace and cultural event, with monthly markets creating opportunities for economically marginalized communities to share their projects, connect and celebrate our diverse cultures.

The Holiday Market event held Saturday, Dec. 19 and Sunday, Dec. 20 from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Revival Coffee will feature rotating vendors each day. Attendees will enjoy great music by Chorizo Funk, Zetroc, Kay Cali, and Kickit, complimentary beverages by Bacardi will be offered to guests 21 and over, and cafecito and conchas by Revival Coffee.

Virtual shopping is also available on the Frida Friday website featuring independent BIPOC artists and community creatives, with shopping pages linking you directly to makers and creatives on Friday, Dec. 18 at 4 p.m.
