Iconic Pecan Grove Hosts Mass Meditation As Part Of National Tour
The Big Quiet tours across the nation offering community group meditation sessions for the benefit of individuals and to forge connections.

AUSTIN, TX — By cleansing your mind of mental obstacles, the practice of meditation serves to boost mental health and wellness and improve quality of life as noted in several studies. The synchronicity of group meditation benefits the individual, but as a collective serves to improve social relationships and the ways we interact with one another including on a more empathetic and profound manner.
The Big Quiet, a community collaborative bringing mass meditations to the public returns to Austin for an outdoor meditation experience at the Tillery Place. The century-old pecan grove serves as an enchanting backdrop where attendees participate through a series of breathing exercises, crowd-powered vocal toning, a mass sound meditation, special guest musical performances and conversations with the Austin community.
Participants will receive an exclusive take-home Tuft & Needle meditation cushion, kombucha from GT's Kombucha, and antioxidant water from SmartWater. Portions from ticket sales support Kula for Karma, therapeutic meditation to people suffering from trauma, addiction and adverse life circumstances; and Chooose, fighting climate change by reducing the carbon footprint of the sponsored event.
