Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Feb. 6-12, 2021

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has released its weekly list of Interstate 35 lane closures for the coming days. The list alerts drivers of areas of potential traffic congestion along the key artery where work is scheduled.

The latest list covers the period between Feb. 6-12.

I-35 AT WILLIAMS DRIVE

• Southbound Austin Avenue right lane closed at Williams Drive
  • Sunday, Feb. 7 through Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit (#256)
  • Through early 2021

I-35 FROM GRAND AVENUE PARKWAY TO SH 45 NORTH

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed at Grand Avenue Parkway. The Grand Avenue Parkway entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Feb. 7 from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m.

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Northbound I-35 bypass lane closed at Parmer Lane
  • Through early 2021
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left two lanes closed at Parmer Lane
  • Monday, Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Southbound to northbound I-35 U-turn closed continuously at US 183
  • Through Friday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road reduced to one lane from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through February 2021
• Northbound to southbound I-35 U-turn closed at Rundberg Lane
  • Through October 2021
• Northbound and southbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly from Norwood Park Boulevard to US 183
  • Monday, Feb. 8 through Thursday, Feb. 11 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Norwood Park Boulevard to Clock Tower Drive
  • Monday, Feb. 8 through Thursday, Feb. 11 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 to northbound US 183 flyover closed continuously
  • Friday, Feb. 12 from 9 p.m. through Sunday, Feb. 14 until 11 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 reduced to one lane continuously
  • Friday, Feb. 12 from 9 p.m. through Sunday, Feb. 14 until 11 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from the William Cannon Drive exit (#228) to Boggy Creek Drive
  • Monday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from William Cannon Drive to Corral Lane
  • Monday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at Stassney Lane
  • Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

I-35 FROM RM 150 TO KYLE CROSSING

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from FM 1626 to Kyle Crossing
  • Through late 2021

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Northbound I-35 Posey Road exit (#199) closed
  • Until further notice

I-35 MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

• Northbound and southbound I-35 rolling closures nightly from Williams Drive to SH 130 for LCRA transmission line installation
  • Through Sunday, Feb. 28 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound and southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Louis Henna Boulevard to Howard Lane
  • Monday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Park Plaza Drive to Rundberg Lane
  • Monday, Feb. 8 through Thursday, Feb. 11 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound and southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Wells Branch Parkway to Tech Ridge Boulevard
  • Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound and southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Howard Lane to Braker Lane
  • Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from 38 1/2 Street to Dean Keeton Street. The Dean Keeton Street exit (#236) will also be closed.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound and southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Tech Ridge Boulevard to Rundberg Lane
  • Thursday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
