AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation issued its weekly list of Interstate 35 lane closures, alerting motorists to areas along the key artery where traffic congestion might emerge. The latest list covers the period between Jan. 2-8.

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Northbound and southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane continuously at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Through mid-January 2021

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit (#256)
  • Through early 2021

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Northbound I-35 bypass lane closed at Parmer Lane
  • Through early 2021
• Southbound I-35 frontage road rolling closure from Parmer Lane to Yager Lane
  • Thursday, Jan. 7 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound US 183 frontage road reduced to one lane from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through February 2021
• Northbound and southbound US 183 reduced to one lane from I-35 to Cameron Road
  • Sunday, Jan. 3 through Thursday, Jan. 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from St. Johns Avenue to Huntland Drive
  • Sunday, Jan. 3 through Thursday, Jan. 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed at Rundberg Lane.
  • Sunday, Jan. 3 through Thursday, Jan. 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed nightly from Wonsley Drive to US 183. The US 183 exit (#240) will also be closed.
  • Monday, Jan. 4 through Thursday, Jan. 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Blackson Avenue to St. Johns Avenue
  • Monday, Jan. 4 through Friday, Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed from Rundberg Lane to Middle Fiskville Road. The Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Thursday, Jan. 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 150 TO KYLE CROSSING

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from FM 150 to Brent Boulevard
  • Through February 2021
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from FM 1626 to Kyle Crossing
  • Through late 2021

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Northbound I-35 Posey Road exit (#199) closed
  • Until further notice
• Southbound I-35 York Creek Road exit (#196) closed
  • Until further notice

I-35 MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed at Onion Creek Parkway
  • Thursday, Jan. 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left lane closed at Onion Creek Parkway
  • Monday, Jan. 4 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left lane closed at Onion Creek Parkway
