La Politica Hosts Brunch Launch Party For Austin Latinas/xs

AUSTIN, TX —2020 is an important election year, and with so many issues to be addressed, it's critical that diverse voices be heard to find solutions to the problems we face. To effect change, grassroots efforts factor significantly in how communities function and relate to one another. Ultimately, grassroots movements are a precursor to how larger societal issues are tackled.

La Politica, founded by a group of Progressive Latinas in search of a space to support, elevate, and educate other Latinas/xs, invite the community to La Politica's Launch Event to discuss issues happening within the Austin community. The launch event will feature a brunch with snacks, pan dulce, delicious frijoles, drinks and more. There will also be a craft activity where attendees create vision boards to help frame the kinds of collective futures that are possible for individual lives and in politics.
