Lend Feedback For ATX Sidewalks, Urban Trails, Bikeways
Residents are invited to complete a survey from Austin Public Works, Austin Transportation to shape future of pedestrian and bike routes.
AUSTIN, TX—The Austin community is invited to offer feedback that will serve to shape the future of Austin's streets, sidewalks, and urban trails. Austin Public Works and Austin Transportation has opened it survey for residents to complete through September 26 for ATX Walk Bike Roll, a community project to update plans on where and when to build the City's pedestrian and bicycle routes.
The survey is available in both English and Spanish, and can also be mailed to residents by emailing ATXWalkBikeRoll@AustinTexas.gov or calling (512) 974-7182. Community feedback is an important way for everyone's opinion to be heard. “Sidewalks, urban trails, and bikeways are not only fun and healthy ways for people to travel, they are also a necessary part of Austin’s transportation system,” explained Gina Fiandaca, Assistant City Manager for Mobility. “Many of our residents rely on these facilities to get where they need to go. With your insight, we can ensure that everyone has more choices to travel through our beautiful City.”
