Best Day Ever Foundation provides unforgettable experiences for those in need. Think "Make-a-Wish Foundation", but for adults.
Matt Worthington, the founder of Best Day Ever Foundation drops in for a discussion on local television show “Austin Actually”, with producer and host Daryl K. Jones.
Best Day Ever Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is “to showcase the power of love, human connection, and the belief that every person deserves to feel truly valued.” Inspired by the idea that love is the universal language, the nonprofit aims to bring unforgettable moments of joy to those who deserve it most, according to their website.
Best Day Ever Foundation provides one-of-a-kind experiences for those going through some form of hardship. People nominate friends, neighbors, co-workers or family members who are going through a hard season, whether that’s illness, loss or some other life challenge. Then, the foundation plans a “Best Day Ever” which reflects the recipient's interest, and fulfills some of their wants and their needs at the time.
