Missing Man Sought In Austin Four Days After Disappearance
Letez Vernon Mayfield Jr., 22, was last seen Thursday at 9 a.m. leaving a residence at 6725 Circle S Rd.
AUSTIN, TX — Austin police are seeking help from the public in locating a missing man who has not been seen in four days.
Letez Vernon Mayfield Jr., 22, was last seen Thursday at 9 a.m. leaving a residence at 6725 Circle S Rd., police wrote in an advisory. He is described as standing six feet tall and weighing 140 pounds, according to a police description. He was last seen wearing a Thin black Jacket, (possibly a sweater) blue jeans, black plastic shoes and a backpack.
Police said Mayfield is known to frequent the area around the HEB at William Cannon and Interstate 35 as well as the Big Lots located at 801 E. William Cannon Dr. Police said medical conditions heighten the concern for the missing man's well-being.

Police urge anyone with information to call the the police department's Missing Persons Unit between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. at (512) 974-5250 or 9-1-1. Tips also can be submitted by downloading the police department's mobile app, Austin PD, for free on iPhone and Android.
