Moms Community Listening Forum Comes To Williamson County
Gathering aims at insights on mental, physical health after birth of a child, with lunch, door prizes, giveaways offered to those attending.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The Moms Community Listening Forum — enabling mothers the opportunity to share opinions and perspectives regarding what's needed to better support their mental and physical health after the birth of a child — is scheduled on Friday.
The Aug. 10 gathering at the Round Rock Public Library is co-hosted by Mommie Support Network, the WilCo Wellness Alliance coalition's Maternal and Infant Health working group and Dell Children's Health Plan.
Attending mothers will have the chance to voice their opinions and let organizations know what services they believe are missing in the community. Organizations serving mothers will be on hand to discuss some of the services they offer to help moms in need.

Following the gathering, Williamson County and Cities Health District officials will produce a follow-up report aimed at identifying service gaps for moms, officials said. The report will be shared with the community and organizations that serve moms, added officials in a press advisory.
This is a free event that includes several door prizes and giveaways. There will be a Child Activity Room for children who are two years old through elementary school age. Lunch and snacks will be provided for this for those attending.

La reunión del 10 de agosto en la Biblioteca Pública de Round Rock es organizada conjuntamente por Mommie Support Network, el grupo de trabajo de salud materna e infantil de la coalición WilCo Wellness Alliance y Dell Children's Health Plan.
Las madres asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de expresar sus opiniones y dejar que las organizaciones sepan qué servicios creen que faltan en la comunidad. Las organizaciones que prestan servicios a las madres estarán disponibles para analizar algunos de los servicios que ofrecen para ayudar a las madres necesitadas.
Después de la reunión, los funcionarios del Condado de Williamson y del Distrito de Salud de las Ciudades producirán un informe de seguimiento destinado a identificar faltas de servicios para las madres, dijeron las autoridades. El informe se compartirá con la comunidad y las organizaciones que atienden a las madres, agregaron funcionarios en un aviso de prensa.
Este es un evento gratuito que incluye varios premios y obsequios para las para las madres reunidas. Habrá una sala de actividades para niños de dos años hasta la edad de escuela primaria. Se proporcionará almuerzo y refrigerios para los asistentes.
