Mystery Science Theater 3000 Brings Live Show To Austin
The Peabody Award-winning comedy show brings the original cast of characters to Austin to entertain loyal fans and newer generations.
AUSTIN, TX —Mystery Science Theater 3000, the iconic Peabody Award-winning TV comedy that emerged in the late 80's, is coming to Austin with the new Mystery Science Theater 3000 Live: The Great Cheesy Movie Circus Tour featuring the show's creator and original host, Joel Hodgson, movie-riffing robots, Tom Servo, Crow and Gypsy. Having gained a cult following as one of the Top 100 TV shows of all time, Hodgson latest reincarnation of Mystery Science Theater 3000 as a live show will undoubtedly garner legions of fans from a new generation.
The live show promises to take audiences on an roller coaster ride through some of most spectacularly cheesy movies ever made, and will feature the same great comedy and dialogue that defined much of the show's success. The show will be held at the Paramount theatre and will give audiences the thrill of experiencing Mystery Science Theater in the same setting as the shows beloved characters.
