New Music Festival “Sunchella” Set to Debut in Austin on August 9

AUSTIN, TX — Move over, SXSW and Austin City Limits—there’s a new festival in town. Overture Domain, a premier 55+ active adult community in Austin, proudly announces the launch of “Sunchella.”

The vibrant summer music festival is happening on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Overture Domain, which is located at 3100 Kramer Lane, Austin, TX 7875, in the heart of The Domain. Admission is free and open to the public.

“Sunchella” offers attendees a dynamic afternoon of live music, local food trucks and raffle prizes, all set in a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. The festival is designed to showcase the energy and engagement of the 55+ active adult lifestyle and to celebrate Austin’s enduring love for live music.

The live music lineup is as follows:

*Frankly Singing | 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.

*Madison Johnson | 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

*James Zimmerman | 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

A variety of local food truck vendors will be on-site serving up delicious eats throughout the day. Guests are encouraged to come hungry, mingle with neighbors and try their luck at winning exciting raffle prizes.
