North Austin Fall Festival & Trick-Or-Treat Safe Zone Scheduled

Multiple Rundberg Lane vemdprs will open their doors to trick-or-treaters on Oct. 26 in a safe, yet frightfully fun, family event.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — As Halloween approaches, Rundberg Lane is fast emerging as the place to get candy and engage in all-around spooky fun in a safe environment.

The Fall Festival & Trick-or-Treat Safe Zone on Rundberg Lane on Friday, Oct. 26, invites families to enjoy activities and games along the titular roadway where business owners, schools and recreation centers will open their doors to the community. Your friendly neighborhood police officers will be on hand to greet families while ensuring everyone has a safe and fun night, organizers said.

The Rundberg Education Advancement District (READ) puts this event on each year. READ is a coalition of individuals and non-profits who work together to create a healthier and more vibrant area for schoolchildren and their families. READ’s goal is to empower parents, educators and schools to support the educational advancement of the youth in the Rundberg area, and to create a vibrant and healthy corridor that will improve the quality of life for generations to come.
