October Kicks Off Austin Restaurant Weeks To Help Fight Hunger

A portion of the price of each meal at participating restaurants will be donated to the Central Texas Food Bank for neighbors in need.

AUSTIN, TX—With so much happening in Austin, there's never a shortage of great things to do. As October gets underway, Austinites will delight as the city kicks off Austin Restaurant Weeks, and offers opportunities for you to help fight hunger when you dine out.

Hunger is a serious issue here in Central Texas, where 1 in 7 of our neighbors can’t be sure where their next meal will come from. You can help by dining out at participating restaurants during Austin Restaurant Weeks, a two-week-long dining extravaganza featuring specially-priced lunches, dinners and cocktails at restaurants throughout the greater Austin area. A portion of the price of each meal comes directly to the Central Texas Food Bank, which can turn each dollar into four meals for our neighbors in need.

Austin Restaurant Weeks 2021 runs from October 1- 10, and will bring chefs and foodies together to fight hunger in Central Texas. Whether you're craving mouthwatering seafood, or a perfectly grilled steak, you can find a list of participating restaurants HERE.
