Online Summer Camps Let Kids Explore Culinary Adventures
Kids Culinary School by Bake Austin will host virtual summer camps for kids ages 9-16 and offer a variety of interactive cooking classes.
AUSTIN, TX —As summer break quickly approaches, and amid COVID-19 guidelines exercising social distancing and avoiding large gatherings, many parents are looking for creative and inventive ways to keep their kids engaged and active during summer vacation. As businesses adopt ways to keep their customers safe, many have transitioned to offering services online.
For parents and caregivers seeking opportunities for kids to experience the interactive fun of summer camp, Kids Culinary School by Bake Austin will offer a new virtual cooking experience for kids from the comfort of home. With classes designed for ages 9-16, Bake Austin's summer camps include classes such as Dinner Club, Baking 101, Cookie Camp and more and will feature 3 hours of cooking/baking 5 days a week; chance for siblings to enjoy the classes free; printable PDFs that include ingredients, tool list and recipes; safety videos for review; easy recipes to follow; and opportunities to review lessons via recorded classes if a class is missed.
The camps are hands-on for kids to enjoy and offer the chance for them to be independent without adult supervision at home and learn to cook alongside the instructor. For a list of offered camps including dates, class descriptions, registration and more click HERE.
