Austin Police Department (APD) Senior Police Officer (SPO) Eric Lindsey #4674, passed away on December 5, 2021, after losing his fight against a medical condition. He will be honored and remembered on Monday, December 13, 2021, during funeral services in Bastrop, Texas.

SPO Lindsey began his APD career with the 104th Cadet Class, and was commissioned on May 10, 2002. He worked a variety of Patrol assignments including David Nights, Parks and Henry Days. SPO Lindsey is survived by his wife Tanya, and their seven-year-old son Mason.
