Round Rock Community Invited To Discuss, Learn About Heart Health
St. David's HealthCare and the Round Rock Library to host a talk about heart health with Dr. Craig Siegel in honor of American Heart Month.
ROUND ROCK, TX —February is American Heart Month and offers a way to raise awareness about heart health and urge those around you to prevent heart disease. But how much do you know about heart disease? According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute at the National Institute of Health (NIH), many Americans may not know that cardiovascular disease, heart disease, and coronary heart disease are not one in the same.
To offer medical insight, the Round Rock community is invited to attend Heart-to-Heart Talk with Cardiologist Dr. Craig Siegel at the Round Rock Public Library on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Dr. Siegel will share his expertise and the latest research on heart health.
In partnership with St. David's HealthCare, the library hosts free weekly classes featuring medical leadership from St. David's. The classes are offered in a fun and interactive way that are both engaging and informative. Well, Well, Well: Timely Topics for Your Health and Wellness invites all ages, from young adults to the older adult community to participate in these informative sessions.
