Southbound SH 130 Lanes Near Cameron Road Closed This Weekend
Starting on Friday at 9 p.m., a full closure of southbound lanes is planned so crews can install overhead toll equipment.
AUSTIN, TX — Texas Department of Transportation crews will close the southbound SH 130 main lanes this weekend so crews can safely install overhead toll equipment, officials said Friday.
Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday (July 10), crews will close the southbound SH 130 main lanes at the Cameron Road exit (#432). Drivers will be detoured to the Cameron Road exit to travel through the toll gantry and re-enter SH 130 just north of Cameron Road.
All lanes are expected to reopen no later than Monday, July 13, at 5 a.m.

Road signs have been placed around the work site to alert drivers of the closure, officials noted. "Last year, crashes in Texas work zones rose 3 percent, so please use extra caution when traveling through the area to keep our workers safe," Texas Department of Transportation officials said.
