Summit Hosts Experts In Media, Policy Discussing LatinX Factor

The LBJ School of Public Affairs hosts experts in media, policy and academia for one-day summit exploring LatinX and its societal impact.

AUSTIN, TX — The LBJ School of Public Affairs will host The LatinX Factor, a one-day summit discussing the X Factor and its role in society, politics and culture. Leading experts in media, policy and academia will offer insight and host workshops on identity, political landscape, advocacy, and more and will feature a keynote luncheon with Harvard University's Nicole Guidotti-Hernandez, a leading voice in LatinX studies.

A Mini Pop-Up Pachanga host by Latino Studies at UT will feature interactive activities, art, resources and a live musical performance by Making Movies. The LatinX Factor takes place Thursday, Oct. 24 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the LatinX Factor event page.
