Texas Agency Seeks To Link Groups Transporting Seniors, Disabled

The Texas Department of Transportation schedules a virtual meeting with lifeline transportation services providers on Wednesday, Dec. 16.

AUSTIN, TX — State transportation officials have scheduled a series of virtual public workshops to help connect organizations providing lifeline transportation services with their most vulnerable customers — seniors and senior citizens.

To that end, an Austin-area virtual meeting hosted by the Texas Department of Transportation is scheduled on Wednesday (Dec. 16) at 10 a.m.

The state agency is seeking input from seniors; individuals with disabilities; representatives of public, private, and nonprofit transportation and human service providers; and other members of the public who share the goal of improving local mobility services for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
