Texas Basketball Loses Star Player To Foot Injury
The player suffered a fractured left foot in practice.

Texas center Cameron Ridley is out indefinitely after suffering a left foot fracture in practice Sunday, the team announced Monday on Twitter.
Ridley was scheduled to have surgery Tuesday, according to the team.
It’s a big loss for the Longhorns, who have started the season 8-3, including a win over then-No. 3 North Carolina, under first-year coach Shaka Smart.

Ridley was second on the team in in points per game (12.7) and minutes played per game (26) before the injury.
Texas returns to the court Tuesday to host Connecticut in Austin at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
