Typhoon Texas Opens 'The Patio' Dining, Entertainment Venue
The seasonal indoor-outdoor dining and entertainment venue at 18500 TX-130 North Service Road in Pflugerville is open through December.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — This sounds like pfun. Typhoon Texas has opened a new, seasonal “eater-tainment” experience dubbed The Patio where visitors can enjoy classic starters, entrees and handcrafted cocktails along with live music, outdoor games and giant children’s sandbox, officials announced Wednesday.
The seasonal indoor-outdoor dining and entertainment venue at 18500 TX-130 North Service Road in Pflugerville is open through December. Hours are Friday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“The Patio is the perfect blend of classic food, refreshing cocktails, music and fun,” John Pham, marketing director of The Patio, in a prepared statement. “Our plan all along has been to add a dining and entertainment experience during the waterpark’s offseason. Plus, it’s a great perk for our season passholders.”

Typhoon Texas 2021 season passholders will receive 15 percent off their purchases in The Patio while 2020 summer/season passholders will enjoy 10 percent off, Pham noted.

Entrée selections at The Patio feature Hand-Battered Chicken Tenders, Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Salad, Hand-Breaded Chicken Fried Steak, Deluxe Cheeseburger, Pizza Rolls, Chicken & Waffles and Thin-Crust Pizza. A kids menu also is available.
Starters include Crispy-Fried Pickles with Classic Sauce, Hand-Breaded Fried Mozzarella Sticks, Bottomless Crispy Chips, made fresh daily, with House-Made Salsa, Eggrolls, Beef and Chicken Nachos and Thick-Cut Onion Rings. Signature cocktails include the Bramble, Mexican Martini, Sterling’s Mojitos, Moscow Mule and others.
As for fun and games, The Patio will feature DJ music on Friday nights and live music on Saturday and Sunday nights. Guests also can partake in life-size Connect Four, Corn Hole, Ladder Ball and Washers while kids can enjoy a 300-square-foot sandbox with digger. Social distancing between parties is required when participating in these activities, officials stressed.
“It’s the kind of place you can bring the kids or come with couples or friends and kick back, enjoy good food, drinks and entertainment all in one spot,” Pham said.
