Missing: Hillary Salcedo, Hispanic female, 14-years-old
Suspect: Hector Avila, Hispanic male, 28-years-old
Update: The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task force located missing person Hillary Salcedo.

Hector Avila has been taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

The Austin Police Department (APD) Missing Persons Unit is requesting the public's help locating 14-year-old Hillary Salcedo. Salcedo was reported missing from Rolling Hills Drive in Buda on January 20, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Salcedo's last known location was in Austin on Thursday, January 20, 2022. An AMBER Alert was issued Thursday night.

We are concerned about her immediate welfare. She is believed to be accompanied by 28-year-old Hector Avila. If you see Salcedo or Avila, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
