Various Activities Around Austin Celebrate Galentine's Day 2020

AUSTIN, TX —By all accounts, February is the month that celebrates love and Valentine's Day. Since 2010, however, women across the nation have also observed February 13 as "Galentine's Day" - popularized by Leslie Knope, a fictional character played by Amy Poehler in the TV series Parks and Recreation in an episode that first aired in 2010.

Galentine's Day is an opportunity to celebrate your best girlfriends and enjoy the company of your favorite gal pals. The beloved Galentine's Day tradition is also a chance to celebrate all the things that unite women.
