Virtual Film Fest Celebrates Women In Film
Lunafest is a virtual screening of seven short films by and about women all able to viewed from the comfort of your home.
AUSTIN, TX —LUNAFEST, a virtual screening of seven short films by and about women, takes place Thursday, July 9 from 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and advances awareness for women's issues while supporting non-profit organizations across the country. 100% of proceeds from LUNAFEST benefit The Loveland Foundation, committed to showing up for communities of color in unique and powerful ways, with particular focus on Black women and girls.
The virtual screening with a running time of 97 minutes is an opportunity to support women in film and viewing the creative talent of filmmakers of diverse backgrounds. Meghan Ross of That Time of the Month, and Arielle LaGuette of Fallout Theater will host virtual LUNAFEST, and will share about what they do, and ways to support them during these challenging times.
The virtual event is recommenced for audiences 13 and older due to film content, and registered attendees will receive a streaming link and password the morning of the event. For more information, and to purchase tickets click HERE.
