AUSTIN, TX —Save Barton Creek Association invite the community to a walk through time and history to explore the advocacy that led to saving Barton Creek. Karen Kocher and Monica Flores, creators of Barton Creek Time Stream will offer insight with the Barton Creek Timestream Exhibit Virtual Tour and Q & A Happy Hour for a fascinating look into Barton Creek's storied history.

Countless visitors have enjoyed Austin's nearly 14-mile Barton Creek Greenbelt, but few know about the tumultuous stories surrounding its creation and preservation. Scheduled Thursday, September 10 beginning at 6 p.m., the exhibit shares stories spanning over 50 years, features more than 40 events, and the profiles of the more than 80 individuals who worked tirelessly to establish and preserve this unique green space for the Austin community.
