Visionary Talent Agency Holds Launch Party Today at SXSW
The VTA launch party is being held at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at The Roosevelt Room.
(Austin, Texas) - Visionary Talent Agency (VTA) is a female owned, full-service agency offering representation in every area of the entertainment industry to include: film, television, theater, social media, digital, commercial, literary, music and the visual arts. The launch party for VTA’s launch is tonight Monday, March 14th at the SXSW Film and Music Festival in Austin at The Roosevelt Room from 4 pm - 8 pm. VTA’s mission includes leveraging their strong talent and literary departments, which are "representative of a full slate of exciting new projects," according to founder, Betsy Magee.
Magee states, "With the ever widening gap created by the constant evolution of entertainment media and technology, VTA is implementing innovative ways to integrate the performing arts and branding, with an eye toward the future. As a global talent agency, we are representing some of the best up-and-coming talent in every current and emerging area of entertainment arts. I’m confident that VTA is poised to become an industry leader in talent representation.”
VTA’s client roster includes talent, Carson Higgins, who has a breakout role in Brad Pitt's upcoming blockbuster "Babylon,” Jeena Bloom who is working on her upcoming Edinburgh show "The Homecoming Queen," which has pending development deals with major networks; as well as actress and recording artist Erika Smith, who will soon launch her first major label release "Calendar Girl.” Smith adds, "I'm happy to be working with VTA because we share the same vision, which is creating art that breaks stereotypes and is fun and entertaining for audiences.”
VTA’s artists are poised to encompass a full slate of exciting new projects which represent a full spectrum of fresh perspectives and forward thinking.
VTA’s signed actress and recording artist Erika Smith has appeared in “Gentefied,” “The Deuce,” “The Irishman” and “The Jim Gaffigan Show.” Smith recently headlined at the Bellagio Las Vegas. States Smith, "VTA is providing me with every opportunity for leading roles in pilots, streaming television and films this Spring.” VTA also reps Carson Higgins (“American Idiot,”) who has a breakout role in Damien Chazelle’s Brad Pitt/Margot Robbie film, “Babylon,” set to release this fall. Jeena Bloom currently tours her standup comedy nationwide, having recently performed at the Hollywood Improv. Jeena Bloom is repped by VTA’s Literary department as well. Rachel Frost, actress and producer, whose films include “Out Of Order” and “The Wedding,” have made the rounds at the film festival circuit. Franck Juste Jr., (“The Resistance,” “Sherman’s Showcase”) is an actor and comic who was nominated for “Best Actor” in the “NYC International Film Festival” for his film, “Loyal to The Game.” Paige Tudyk Gomez (“Unknown Caller”, “Transplants”) has also signed with VTA.
Guests for VTA’s launch party tonight include Zack Ford known for “Scar 3D. Ford will be celebrating his film “Watcher” at tonight’s event. “Watcher” premiered at the “Sundance Film Festival.”
Manager/Producer/Director Ben Pitts will also be in attendance. He is known for his work on “Smash," "The Last OG" and “Harlem Knights.” “Harlem Knights” was an official selection in the New York Television Festival.
Director E. Sanchez, who collaborated with Erika Smith on the music video “Frequency Of Love,” the first single off of Smith’s upcoming album “Calendar Girl,” will also be in attendance at the event, as well as Toney Goins (“Billions”) who is repped by The Gersh Agency.
Actors Krystle Connor and Evan Enslow (“Shadow Of Doubt”), along with clients Erika Smith, Rachel Frost, Franc Juste and Paige Tudyk Gomez will be in attendance at tonight’s event.
Guests at tonight’s event can expect a line-up of surprise entertainment at the award-winning cocktail and event venue located in the heart of downtown Austin’s historic Warehouse District.
