WilCo Elections Department To Close
The closure is to accommodate a move to the Inner Loop Annex, 301 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown, but staff members can still be reached.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The Williamson County Elections Department office will be closed to the public Monday, officials said.
The Aug. 3 closure closure will allow for a moving crew to assist the department in moving to a new office space within the Inner Loop Annex at 301 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown, Texas, officials explained. They added that Williamson County began renovations to the building in mid-January toward providing expanded space for existing offices, including the Elections Department.
As a result of the move, elections staff will be working remotely on Monday, but can still be reached via email. Residents also can call the office by dialing the main phone line at (512) 943-1630. The Elections Department anticipates resuming in-person operations on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
