7 People Involved in East Austin Rollover Incident

One child was ejected from the car.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services responded to a rollover in East Austin involving seven people, including five children, one of whom was ejected from the vehicle, according to officials.

Around 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, EMS tweeted that paramedics were responding to a rollover near the 300 block of Ed Bluestein Blvd. in the northbound lane. The child who was ejected from the car was declared a trauma alert.


Five children and one adult were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center. One of them had potentially life-threatening injuries. The other adult in the rollover was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
