Austin Police Are Looking For Three Suspects in East Austin Shooting

Austin police are looking for three men suspected of being involved in a shooting that left a man critically injured in East Austin.

According to the Austin Police Department, Austin EMS responded to a shooting just around midnight on Wednesday. The Austin-Travis County EMS rushed the victim to a local hospital for surgery, and his injuries were deemed non-life threatening. According to police, the shooting occurred near Martin Luther King Boulevard on Nixon Lane.

Police believe the incident may have happened after a robbery inside the victim’s home. Officers do not believe that the suspects are a threat to the public.
