'Black Art Matters' Art Show, Fundraiser Scheduled In Austin

2nd annual event showcases the work of local artists of color highlighting themes of social and criminal justice.

EAST AUSTIN, TEXAS — "Black Art Matters," the 2nd annual art show and fundraiser for the Austin Justice Coalition, is scheduled later this month.

Showcasing local artists of color, the event is scheduled to take place at Canopy on March 30 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 916 Springdale Rd. Organizers described the upcoming event as "...an art experience that highlights criminal justice, social justice, and the Black Lives Matters movement through artists of color."
