Body Found in Truck in East Austin

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a body that was found in the bed of a truck on Sunday, according to KXAN.

Austin-Travis County EMS said they received a call about a person in a vehicle on the side of the road at the 5800 block of North State Highway 130 near the intersection at FM 969.

Officials said they found a man’s body that had obvious signs of rigor mortis.

The body has not been identified and the death has not been ruled suspicious at this time. Patch has reached out to authorities and will update the story when more details become available.
