Crews Contain Fire at Nixon Towing in East Austin

Crews contained a fire at an East Austin towing company.

Austin firefighters responded to a heavy fire coming from a small building in East Austin on Wednesday afternoon. They were able to contain the fire at about 5:10 p.m., according to officials.

The fire department received a call at about 4:45 p.m. from a commercial structure housing Nixon Towing at 4402 Nixon Lane reporting a fire in the vicinity.

No injuries were reported.
