Dog Rescued From Fire in East Austin Home
The Austin Fire Department rescued the dog Wednesday afternoon.

A dog was rescued from a burning home in East Austin on Wednesday afternoon.
The Austin Fire Department said the fire began around 3:40 p.m. in the 2000 block of Rosewood Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, the fire was coming from the back of the home. An adult was able to escape, but a dog was rescued by firefights and taken to the veterinarian for treatment.
