Election Guide: Where To Vote, Hours, Who's On The Ballot in Austin
State, county, and local races all up for grabs Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Tuesday, Nov. 3 is Election Day, and the city of Austin has some important decisions to make.
Several Travis County seats are up for grabs. Dale “Mitch” Mitchell and Rodney Cox are running for the Mayor of the City of Lago Vista. Three Council Member seats are available for City of Lago Vista as well. Richard Raley and James “Jimmy” Lynam will battle for Place 1 in the Council race. For Place 3, Ed Tidwell, Kevin Sullivan and Michael Panter will go against one another. In Place 5, Stephanie Smith will run unopposed.
The Westbank Community Library District Board of Trustee Election race includes Fred Drewe, Dita Dauti-Heilman and Leslie Simon Davis. In this particular race, voters can vote for none, one, or two candidates.

Several propositions will be on the ballot, including the Travis County Bond Proposition, which, should it pass, will ensure the issuance of $287,275,000 bonds for the purpose of constructing, improving and equipping civil and family courts facilities and the levying of the tax in payment. There’s also Proposition 4, a Constitutional Amendment, which will authorize “the legislature to permit professional sports team charitable foundations to conduct charitable raffles.” Pflugerville and Cedar Park have several propositions and city council positions on the ballot as well. Texas law requires that voters present a valid photo identification when voting. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. If you aren’t sure where to vote in East Austin, here are a few locations that will be open:
