Fire Displaces Three In East Austin

No one was injured in the blaze.

Three people were displaced in an East Austin house fire Thursday night, according to a report from the Austin American-Statesman.

Firefighters told the paper that no one was injured. According to the report, there was an electrical fire in the attic of a small, single-family residence on East Fourth Street near North Pleasant Valley Road.

The fire was reported at about 10:13 p.m., according to the paper. When firefighters arrived, flames were coming through the roof. AFD was able to contain the blaze by 10:27 p.m., according to the report.

The home damage is estimated at about $50,000. According to the paper, The Red Cross assisted the three people involved.
