This year, 15 students from the Mexican American Cultural Center’s (MACC) Caminos program–an immersive paid fellowship empowering Austin-area teens to carve their own path in the creative arts – will be exhibitors with an artist table at the expo. These young participants have been creating a 24-page zine which focuses on issues surrounding inclusion, identity, family, tradition and belonging, and Latino youth experiences in a design workshop mentored by NAVA, the editor of Latino Toons, officials noted.
