Acclaimed Winemaker Brings His Knowledge and Wines to Tony's
Vietti's Luca Currado is a master of his craft, and his engaging personality will pair well with special menu.
HOUSTON, TX — If you like great wines and food, mark January 18 on your calendar, because this dinner will feature both.
Luca Currado makes some great wines at Vietti, a famed Piedmontese winery, and Tony's is bringing him to Houston, where he will speak and pour wines during a meal created by Tony Vallone.
"To appreciate the depth and nuance of these extraordinary wines from Piedmont, they need to be paired with an equally thoughtful menu," says Scott Sulma, a partner at the Vallone Restaurant Group. "Tony's meticulous attention to detail and his balance between creative and traditional cuisine are ideal for a dinner like this one. Luca is one of the most highly regarded winemakers working in the world of fine wine today, and the winery was one of the most talked-about Italian estates in 2016. We couldn't be more happy that he will be joining us."
