The community spread level for Tarrant County remains Moderate at 0.78 which means the virus spread is decreasing. River Oaks is reporting no new cases today for a total of 2,228 cases since tracking began of which overall 2,189 have been reported to recover and 27 that have died city-wide since tracking began leaving a total of 12 active cases still remaining in the City, 3 less than the last report.Of the 269 new cases reported today by Tarrant County, 127 of them have specimen collection dates more than 30-days ago for a total of 560,724 cases of which 454,959 are confirmed and 105,765 are probable cases. 549,746 are estimated to have recovered but with 7 more deaths since the last report, the number of deaths has risen to a total of 5,764 overall in Tarrant County. 62% of all Tarrant County residents 5 years and older have now been fully vaccinated, 57% of all ages of Tarrant County Residents have been fully vaccinated. 21% of all Tarrant County that is 5-years and older has taken the booster. COVID-19 causes respiratory illness with cough, fever and shortness of breath and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.
