City Of River Oaks: Yale & Meandering Will Become A 4-Way Stop Intersection

Due to a recent traffic study recommendation involving vehicles entering Meandering Road from Yale Street especially involving the crosswalks where children cross before and after school, the City Council adopted Ordinance 1337-2022 making the intersection a 4-way stop for safe crossing of pedestrians and in slowing down the traffic up and down Meandering Road. It is anticipated that the crosswalks will be striped and the signs installed the week of February 22-25. See enclosed diagram and ordinance publication.
