Four New Restaurants Yelp Wants You To Know About

HOUSTON, TX — Looking for some new restaurants to try out? Bored with your regular spots, or seeking a cook spot to hang out in with your friends? Yelp has come up with four new establishments for your approval, and here they are:

First, take a look at Piggy's Kitchen & Bar. It's in the River Oaks area, and serves breakfast as well as lunch, brunch, and dinner, and is a great casual gathering place. You can get everything from pizza to chicken to whiskey flights to burgers, and the space is warm and welcoming

Here's what Isabel F. says about it: "The baked eggs were cooked perfect (not dry) and spicy tomatoes with goat cheese delivered the smokiness , heat and creaminess to tie the dish together."

Next, Yelp offers Island Grill. It, too, offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serves excellent smoothies and salads. The restaurant is in Rice Village and is a bright, airy space, perfect for family meals and casual dates.

"The food was very tasty. I had the Mediterranean plate and that was filling," writes Herman L. "I like that the meat wasn't very salty. The salad that came with it was fresh and had a good crunch. Service is quick and very friendly. Prices can be a bit steep for what you get, but that's probably just me."

How about some sushi and Asian fusion? Well, if that's your desire, Akashi Fusion Asian & Sushiis where Yelp wants you to go. It has seven locations in the Houston area, and serves a wide variety of sushi and sashimi, plus everything from egg rolls to edamame and fried rice.

Here's what Ebony C. has to say about the restaurant: "This place is AMAZINGLY GOOD... I always use salt & pepper when I go out to eat anywhere I go... well not here!!! The food was perfectly seasoned!!!"

Finally, this one's for all the snow cone lovers out there. The name of the place is Eastwood's, and it's hot, according to Yelp users. The pizza is getting high marks, as are the wings, and the icy treats are also rated highly.

"I've now had the naked wings twice Uhhh-mazing!!!! We tried the pizza today and the cheese they are using isn't like the normal cheese on pizza, it's better!!!," says Kim C. "And of course, we HAD to get snowcones, and yes, they use the "good ice!" We'll be back for sure!"
